scheduled folder scanning happening immediately

Hi,

My company is a big user of egnyte which doesn't have a very good built-in search.

As such, over the years, I primarily have used file lists which are a bit cumbersome to maintain (though work well) to address this shortcoming of egnyte.

I'd like to schedule it as folders which are rescanned at varying frequencies to automate this process however, when I add such a folder and close out of the window, it attempts to rescan it immediately despite having selected, for example, saturday at 1am. I'm not keen on this immediate attempt to scan the folder on closing out of the dialog box as it takes hours to scan the folder and everything is useless during that time.

Is there any way to opt out of this immediate scan behavior and force only to scan at the scheduled time?

To disable the unscheduled rescan:

• Copy and paste the following into your Everything search box:
  
  /folder_update_rescan_asap=0
• Press ENTER in your Everything search box.
• If successful, folder_update_rescan_asap=0 is shown in the status bar for a few seconds.

You should be able to search while Everything is doing a background rescan.

Everything should only be indexing once.

Please make sure Everything is installed correctly:

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the General tab on the left.
• Check Store settings and data in %APPDATA%\Everything.
• Uncheck Run as administrator.
• Check Everything Service. (Please make sure this is tick-checked and not square-checked)
• Click OK.
• Exit Everything (from the File menu, click Exit).
• Restart Everything.

Wait for the initial scan to complete.
After a reboot, does the issue persist?

I'll do a full clean reinstall sometime soon and give this a shot - thank you again for making such an amazing app
