erroneous update available message?

I have installed v1423b.

On every reboot, everything tells me that 1423b is available as an update. It shouldn't be doing that - never seen it before on a previous version.

Please see the Everything 1.5a Alpha - Upgrade Guide if you previously had Everything 1.5a installed.
Uninstall Everything 1.5a if it is still installed.

Does the issue persist?
After a reboot what is shown under Everything -> Help -> About Everything -> Version?
