New to everything and seems to be having issues with the client install querying results from the remote server.
I have everything 1.5.1396a Server running on a remote system indexing a bunch of DFS file shares. Server is able to index and show results of the indexed shares when queried. (63million items indexed and a database size of aprx 8GB)
Client is configured to use the network index option to query the server for files already indexed on the server. When tying to search from the client there are no results being returned even though the server instance is online and has results already indexed. I have uploaded some scrrens shots of the server and client configs. not sure if I'm missing something with the config or if we are indexing too many items for the app to handle properly. Any insight will be really appreciated
Not sure what
Client unable to retreive results from the Everythig server.
Re: Client unable to retreive results from the Everythig server.
Thanks for the issue report onedrop,
Please send the full Everything Server settings and full network indexes settings screenshots in a bug report.
I suspect there's an include only remap issue.
Please make sure the files are not excluded under Tools -> Options -> Exclude.
Please make sure the Everything filter is active on the client.
Results are not shown until indexing completes.
Does the client get stuck indexing? -It will take a few minutes. (I would guess about 10 minutes)
You shouldn't have any issue indexing 63million files.
The verbose debug output will be very busy, try without verbose.

Re: Client unable to retreive results from the Everythig server.
Either is fine.Do you want the whole server config.ini or just the screenshot of the Tools-->Options-->indexes-->Folders section
Help -> Troubleshooting information would also cover the necessary information.
Search menu -> Check EverythingNot sure where this setting is located to be enable.activePlease make sure the Everything filter is active on the client.
Client is stuck showing indexing for hours
Something isn't right here..Do you want me to include a full debug log to the bug report?
Could you please send the verbose debug output:
On the client, In Everything, from the Tools menu, under the Debug submenu, check Verbose.
From the Tools menu, under the Debug submenu, click Start Debug Logging...
Let Everything sit for 10 minutes.
From the Tools menu, under the Debug submenu, click Stop Debug Logging...
---This will open your %TEMP%\Everything Debug Log.txt in Notepad.
Please upload this file in a bug report. (please compress it if it is larger than 50mb)
Re: Client unable to retreive results from the Everythig server.
I have attached both client verbose debug and client .INI settings to bug report. i have 2 Debug logs One with the "icludeOnly" configured on the client network index and one without.
