can you have search checkboxes always showing for faster search filtering? i attached MSPaint edit as an example

Try enabling the filter bar:
Go to Menu:View and click on Filters
That will make the Filters bar visible in the top-right corner of the Everything window.
You can select a different filter by clicking on the filter bar.

i appreciate the reply. it is slightly better than the prior option but i would still prefer to have something resembling the image.
