Everything always opens in the background

Every time I open the program, it runs behind all the open windows that I have open. Why is it running behind Everything else? Can you help me find the setting that when I open the app, it shows in front of all the open windows. Thanks

How are you opening Everything? from a shortcut?

Are you running Everything as administrator?

Please try running Everything as a standard user and installing the Everything service:

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the General tab on the left.
• Check Everything Service.
• Uncheck Run as administrator.
• Click OK.

Please make sure you shortcut to Everything is not set to minimize:

• Right click your Everything shortcut and click Properties.
• Click the Shortcut tab.
• Change Run: to: Normal window.

Yes, this is a shortcut to the app.

I right clicked on the shortcut > properties, and set it to run as administrator, and everything worked out! It now runs in the foreground upon opening. Thanks for the reply! Great app!
