Display only bookmark names—rather than search commands—in window or tab titles

Post by IGERY »

I’ve searched the forum but haven’t found anything useful—it’s possible I simply overlooked it.

Currently, search commands are displayed in the titles of individual windows and tabs. I would like the names of my saved bookmarks to appear instead, both in the tab titles and for individual windows. Where and how can I change this?

Everything cannot do this.
Bookmarks are never "active".

When you open a bookmark, the search is set to the bookmark search.
One workaround is to use a
nop:"My Bookmark Name"
search at the start of your bookmark search.
The nop: search does nothing and will show in your window/tab title bar.

nop:

An alternative is to use filters, the active filter name is shown in the window/tab title bar.
