Open Bookmark Tab action / Filter behavior Back button

I had a tab open with a custom filter... I opened a saved Bookmark (it was saved with Everything Filter which i wanted) thinking it would open a new tab... Nope, it overwrote the existing tab which i didn't want it to do, so I went to History/Back (Alt-Left). It brought back my original search but NOT my custom filter i had

1. How to i get Bookmarks to open in a new tab by default so they don't overwrite current tab?
2. How do get the Back button (Alt-Left) to bring back my original search including the custom Filter?
3. Does History NOT include the filter setting? Should it?

How to i get Bookmarks to open in a new tab by default so they don't overwrite current tab?

Hold down Ctrl when opening the bookmark.

To set the default action:

• In Everything 1.5, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the Advanced tab on the left.
• To the right of Show settings containing, search for:
  open search
• Select: open_search_action
• Set the value to: New tab
• Click OK.

How do get the Back button (Alt-Left) to bring back my original search including the custom Filter?

Alt+Left should restore the previous search and filter.
You might need to go back one extra step.
-Everything is incorrectly adding an extra navigation history item when the bookmark changes the filter, i'll look into a fix..

Does History NOT include the filter setting?

Search history doesn't save the filter, but nav history does.
Nav history is shown under the History menu.
