When you right-click a column in the header and select "Search XXXX" from the context menu, there's a chance it completely replaces the current search keyword—instead of appending it after a space.

Re: 【Bug】A minor bug related to the header
Thank you for the issue report Learning Regex,
The search function is normally added to the end of the search.
However, if there's a selection in the search box it is replaced with the inserted search function.
What I will do for the next update is always append the search function when right clicking a column header -> Search for <property>....

(Now) knowing that, I can use that as a "fix" for my issue with, Everything (context-menu) - Search <column>.However, if there's a selection in the search box it is replaced with the inserted search function.
(Now) knowing that, I can know that in the future my "fix" will stop fixingWhat I will do for the next update is always append the search function when right clicking a column header -> Search for <property>....

Re: 【Bug】A minor bug related to the header
The intended behavior was always to add to the search.
Setting the search based on what is selected is going to cause confusion.
The goal here is to filter existing results from the column header.
I will consider a "add/set" setting to control the behavior of Everything (context-menu) -> Search Column Value.

Re: 【Bug】A minor bug related to the header
Everything 1.5.0.1424b will now always append the column header search.
I still have on my TODO list to add a way to 'set' the search for Everything (context-menu) -> Search Column Value.
For now, if you want to set the search (instead of append), create a custom context menu item in the registry.
For example:

For example:
- In the registry editor, create the following key:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shell\Search Size in Everything - Create the following key:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shell\Search Size in Everything\command - In this new key, set the (Default) value data to:
"C:\Program Files\Everything\Everything.exe" -search size:[GETSIZE:"%1"]
