Combine with a Launcher App like Flow Launcher

Just a thought that was been percolating for a while. I think a great move is for Everything Search to combine with a launcher app. To have 2 different windows when only window is necessary. It would make my desktop a lot neater.

I tried to use Flow Launcher with Everything turned on, but I really like the features that come with Everything's main app.

I know giving up ownership would be a huge deal and it would seem like a step back but I genuinely believe that working together makes the sum bigger than its parts. Ideas can be exchanged. Motivation/morale boosted. Resources gained.

Anyway, just a thought…

Hey rube,

I think you are suggesting I use Flow Launcher with the Everything setting.

I am already doing that but it's missing features I like with the Everything window. Things like ascribing an exact run count with a certain result so I can put common results in an order. Or excluding certain folders that produce useless results.

As a result, I end up using Everything Search separately. But it would be truly great if there was a single window that included the best features of both Flow Launcher and Everything Search—it'd be be pretty awesome.

(I'm still waiting for someone to create a new OS. Hopefully, they'll include the window above.)
