everything 1.5 version을 잘 사용중입니다.
회사에서 사용중에 특이한점을 발견하여 내용 리포트 드립니다.

사내 보안 폴더를 프로그램을 통해 사용중인데, 1.5.0.1396a에는 해당 폴더가 잘 선택이 되는데, 그 이후 버전에서는 해당 폴더에 권한이 없다고 되지 않습니다.
이 현상은 1.4 version에서도 예전 버전은 잘 되는데, 최신 버전은 권한이 없다고 되지 않음을 확인하였습니다.

사내 보안 때문이라면 전부 안되어야 할텐데, 예전 버전에서만 작동이 되어 뭔가 내부 로직이 바뀐것 같은데, 내용 참조하시기를 바랍니다.

I am using version 1.5 of everything well.
The company discovers something unusual while using the product and reports it.

I am using an in-house security folder through a program, and the folder is selected well in 1.5.0.1396a, but in later versions, it does not say that the folder does not have permission.
We confirmed that this phenomenon works well in older versions even in version 1.4, but that the latest version does not say that you do not have permission.

If it's due to in-house security, it shouldn't work at all, but it only works in older versions, so it seems like the internal logic has changed. Please refer to the details.

Does the issue persist in 1405a or later?
Everything 1397a to 1404a will prevent some shell extensions from loading.

제가 확인한 바로는 1.5.0.1396a 이하는 정상, 1397a 이상은 안되었습니다.
1.3.x , 1.4.x 버전은 확인하지 못하였습니다.

I assume you want Everything to fail on the protected folders.

Does the issue occur when you open folders or when you index folders?

Could you please send a debug log:
In Everything 1397a or later, from the Tools menu, click Start Debug logging.
Open a protected folder.
In Everything, from the Tools menu, click stop Debug logging.
This will open your %TEMP%\Everything Debug Log.txt

현재 증상은 1397a 이상에서 해당 드라이브를 아예 지정할수 없는 에러가 발행하고 있습니다.
1396a 에서는 에러가 발생하지 않습니다.

1. >1397a (1415a) message
- 위치를 사용할 수 없습니다.
R:\을(을) 액세스할 수 없습니다.
액세스가 거부되었습니다.

2. 1396a 는 정상 동작

The issue was caused by third party security software (Escort) blocking the Everything.exe process name.

The solution was to rename Everything.exe to Everything64.exe:
Update to 1415b
Exit Everything (File -> Exit)
Copy your Everything.exe to Everything64.exe
Launch Everything64.exe
In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
Click the General tab on the left.
Tick-check [✓] any options that are dash-checked [-]
Click OK.

이 문제는 Everything.exe 프로세스 이름을 차단하는 타사 보안 소프트웨어(Escort)로 인해 발생했습니다.

해결책은 Everything.exe의 이름을 Everything64.exe로 바꾸는 것이었습니다.
1415b로 업데이트
Everything 종료(파일 -> 종료)
Everything.exe를 Everything64.exe로 복사하세요.
Everything64.exe 실행
Everything의 도구 메뉴에서 옵션을 클릭합니다.
왼쪽의 일반 탭을 클릭하세요.
대시로 표시된 옵션 [✓]을 선택하세요. [-]
확인을 클릭하세요.
