Menu Scrolling with mousewheel for Bookmarks/Search

Post by meteorquake »

When the bookmark menu (presumably search menu too) gets longer than the screen there's a little arrow at the bottom you can click.
This suggestion is to be able to mousewheel over the expanded menu to move it up/down.

The stock menu doesn't support mousewheel.

I have on my TODO list to add my own menus.
Thank you for the suggestion.

Thanks!
Actually it may be that what the bookmark menu really needs a list of the most recently-used bookmarks, say the top 10 (could be user-set number)
This could be either as a submenu, or (if user set) as the main menu list. I think people with a lot of bookmarks are going to want to use the bookmark finder for ones they've not used for a while, and the main menu list for "popular" ones.
Another way to handle this is for the bookmark finder to have the ability to sort by last use, and there could be a command to open it with that view, so that people can choose shortcuts for opening the bookmark finder in name-order and last-used order as they wish.

I will consider a recently used bookmarks menu.

I have put on my TODO list to add a Last Visited column with support for sorting to the Find Bookmark dialog.
(I would also need to add open bookmark tracking, which Everything currently doesn't do)

Thank you for the suggestion.
