HOW TO SEACH A NAME AND EXTENTION

Hi

I am very new to this search program and trying toget my head round it

I want to serch for a name and a extention

stone.jpg what would i put for that?

also if i wnat it to seach fro one drive only

the last thing is there any where I can go to see exaples of this working

Sorry to be so thick but for a 85 year this tech o is a bit much

How about
stone.jpg

Or
c: stone.jpg
or
z: stone.jpg


stone .jpg
could find all kinds of things (that have the words stone and .jpg in them).

cracks-on-capstones.jpg
yellowstone-1411197@2x.jpg
sandstone.jpg
milestone_hd_bkgd.jpg

So how would I just search for only stone.jpg
it is one picture on the c drive with about 7000 more jpg.

To match the whole filename
stone.jpg
, prefix your search with
wholefilename:


wholefilename:stone.jpg


wfn:
for short:
wfn:stone.jpg




There's also whole-words:

wholewords:stone .jpg


ww:
for short:
ww:stone .jpg
