I have installed the everything server, and it works well.
I did NOT install it as a service (which involves moving it to c:\everythingserver and running some commands).
Question: Is installing it as a service ONLY required if I want it to run after a reboot (before Windows login), but it will continue to run properly without installing as a service as long as I make sure to login to Windows after a reboot? Is that correct?
Everything server service
Re: Everything server service
The Everything Server Service is only required if you want the Everything Server to run without having a user logged in.
(eg: after a reboot before windows login)
(eg: after a reboot before windows login)
Correct.it will continue to run properly without installing as a service as long as I make sure to login to Windows after a reboot?
