Out of memory?

Post by dadooo »

A few minutes after the software starts, a prompt saying "out of memory" pops up, and then the software shuts down automatically.

Everything is out of memory.
The x86 version is limited to 2GB of RAM.

Please try the x64 version of Everything:
  • Optionally, make a backup of %APPDATA%\Everything
  • Uninstall the x86 version.
  • Install the x64 version.

The installer:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp\esf58a5.tmp\Everything.exe
failed to run:

"C:\Program Files\Everything 1.5a\Everything.exe"

Please check if your antivirus is blocking Everything.exe from running.
Did
C:\Program Files\Everything 1.5a\Everything.exe
get created?

-Maybe there's a pending delete on the Everything Service causing troubles.
Please try uninstalling Everything x86.
Restart your PC.
Install Everything x64.

Does the issue persist?
