Hello,
In Everything 1.5a, the Keyboard options allow assigning shortcuts to many "Sort By" commands, such as Date Modified, Date Created, Extension, etc. However, some properties like Date Taken (and other file columns that can be displayed, e.g. Dimensions) are not available in the Sort By list.
Currently, these properties can only be sorted by clicking the column header, but there is no way to assign a hotkey. For photos, sorting by Date Taken is often much more useful than sorting by Date Modified.
Instead of only exposing a fixed set of "Sort By" commands, would it be possible to make this more flexible? For example, allowing users to add any displayed column property (such as Date Taken, Dimensions, Camera Model, etc.) to the Keyboard shortcut list, so that a custom hotkey can be assigned to it.
This would give users much more control and make sorting workflows more efficient.
Thank you very much for considering this request!
