Tools > Option > Advanced > Show settings containing >
users can search for and the modify hidden advanced settings. This box uses a handy instant filtering approach and has also invaluable Show only modified setting check-box - but unfortunately lacks a proper history feature
Right now users can only go back to a previous setting by pressing CTRL + Z keyboard shortcut - which [when presses repeatedly turns the box [probably unintentionally] into a switch between 2 most recent ones. I often find myself changing more than 2 settings and then right away checking out how they change behavior and / or look of Everything without closing of the Options window [because it would be counter-productive to constantly re-open in]. In a mater of fact that ability to be able to not only apply changes but also to access other parts of program without closing of its window with options / settings is something that attributes to greatness of this piece of software
So please implement some sort of history for that field. It could have a form of typical drop-down menu unfolding itself alike to that of history of the Search Edit field. This new history feature could have its own Advanced settings of
