[NOT BUG] New Tab duplicates behavior of Duplicate Tab

I see no difference between choosing from the content menu option New Tab and option Duplicate Tab - in both cases I get a new Tab with copied-in expression from the Search Edit field of currently active Tab

And this is also happening when I click the

+

icon i.e. I get a cloned Tab - which technically is a new one, but at the same time it is a clone of an old one


I am using Everything 1.5.0.1396a x64 Portable

What is your General/Home setting in options. I have the following which when I add a new tab gives me an empty search with the "Everything" filter.
I also have "Hide results when the search is empty" ticked in General/Results

So it is not a bug - but a feature; configurable one. Thank you for making me aware of this


And I think that is the problem: I would not have guessed it that the

Tools > Options > General > Home

governs that what is named New Tab
