Still getting UAC prompt

Post by harryray2 »

David,

I'm still having problems with any version of everything above 1391 asking for a UAC prompt even though the service is installed.

No problem with 1391 and below.

Thanks.

Have you changed UAC setting on your end - to either Always notify or Never notify?

Please try changing your Everything Service to autostart:
  • From the Start menu, search for:
    services
  • Right click Services and click Run as administrator.
  • Right click Everything Service and click properties.
  • Change Startup type to: Automatic.
  • Click OK.
Please let me know if this helps.

(I'll assume this was the prior thread, & probably out to merge, viewtopic.php?t=16536.)
