Is there an easy way to copy filters into bookmarks?

Post by eswul62 »

First of all: don't know whether this has been asked before and secondly: maybe it is not possible at all.

Over years I have created a llong list of filters.
Maybe I could better organize them in Bookmarks.
It is quite a workload to create bookmarks one by one, using filters commands.

Q: is there a way to modify the filter set (.csv) so it can be imported into bookmarks?

Or is there some other trick?

Thanks!

To import filters.csv as bookmarks (with some limitations):
  • In Everything, from the Bookmarks menu, click Organize Bookmarks.
  • Click Import....
  • Select your Filters.csv and click Open.
  • Review the new filters as bookmarks.
  • The following information is imported:
    • Name
    • Search Options (Case,Whole Word,Path,Diacritics,Prefix,Suffix,Ignore Punctuation,Ignore Whitespace,Regex)
    • Search
    • Columns
    • Sort
    • View
    • Macro
    • Key

Information that is not imported:
  • Index (Local Database/ETP/File List)
  • Icon

THANK you!
Super - this was indeed very easy.

TBH whilst assuming their formats would be different, I didn't even give a try.
Ahum...

Thanks again.
