Unable to add "Content" column to bookmarks

Post by dfsd23532 »

I'm experiencing problems with the "Content" column when working with bookmarks in Everything:

Column not found in bookmark manager: When I search for "content" in the bookmark manager's column selection, it doesn't appear in the results.
Column disappears when using "Add to bookmark": If I already have the Content column enabled in Everything and use the "Add to bookmark" option, the Content column simply vanishes after activating the bookmark.

Also when searching for content within files, I think the bookmark should display the actual matched word/phrase in the Content column rather than just showing the beginning of the file content. Though I understand this might be challenging to implement when dealing with multiple search terms.

Steps to Reproduce
1. Enable Content column in current view
2. Use "Add to bookmark" option
3. Activate the created bookmark
4. Content column is no longer visible

OR

1. Open bookmark manager
2. Try to search for "content" column
3. Column is not found in the search results

Everything doesn't have a content column.

A content column can be created with custom columns.

To create a custom content column, include the following in your search:

add-column:a a:=$content:
