Everything does not show different folders

Post by Asparagus »

When I add, remove, or rescan the files, the menu shows me all the files in the entire pc, even if I choose an empty folder it will always show me all the files and not just the ones from the folder I'm choosing.

It started happening last week since I tried to delete windows.edb cause I saw it was more than 20gb already, but since there I've had this problem with everything, does anyone knows how to fix it?

Please send your Help -> Troubleshooting information.

Please check your indexed NTFS volumes under Tools -> Options -> NTFS.
Please check your indexed folders under Tools -> Options -> Folders.
-Please make sure you are not including duplicated NTFS volumes and folders.

Nothing.
As in I assumed you did not have a file with that name, so it is expected that nothing appears.

And as nothing appears, as expected, I'm confused with, oh, I guess I didn't understand what you were saying (& still am not clear)?

OK, so just what do you mean by that?
You're doing what, Options | Indexes... you're setting it to only include particular location(s) in the .db, & you're adding/removing said locations & (manually) rescanning (reindexing) them at some points in time?
