database file .db convert

hi is there a way to convert the .db file to a readable file like a text file or database sheet rtf txt xls etc etc ?

like for instance if a hdd crashes it sometimes is the only list of data i had if i had not done backup for that hdd ....

For Everything 1.5, db files can be opened as a file list under File -> Open File List....
Then exported as EFU, CSV or TXT.
