Hi. Could you add search and filter by basic audio file properties? Such as filtering 24-bit vs 16-bit flacs. or 44.1/48/88.2/96/176.4/192 khz sampling rate.
Maybe you could include SACD files (with .iso, .dff and.dsf extensions) in audio searching.

What version of Everything?
If 1.4, see what 1.5 alpha does for you.
As far as the extensions, you can add them yourself.

It was 1.4, now it is 1.5a. It's a whole different animal and even more powerful... especially for the features I needed such as duplicate finding. Thank you very much. Amazing software.therube wrote: Fri Apr 25, 2025 3:54 pm What version of Everything?

FWIW:
Everything relies on Windows' property handlers to extract these properties.
These property handlers are essentially small programs that extract this information from a specific filetype (docx, jpg, mp3, etc) to pass it on to Explorer/Everything on request.
To my best of knowledge -- I did look for this some time ago -- there is no property handler for iso/dsf files.
If there is one (installed), these properties will show up when showing the file details in Explorer.

Re: Enhanced audio file details
Indexing 3 audio properties took ages. I've added .iso, .dsf. and .dff extensions to audio filter. As iso's are conventionally binary images they do not get the audio file treatment during indexing, therefore you don't get the correct bit-per-sample value of 1 or sampling rate of 2,8224MHz for the single-rare DSDs I own.
What's more important is, single-rate dsf files (which is another container for dsd) are recognized but they get a fixed sampling rate of 88.2 (2822.4), bit rate of 4233kpbs (5644) and audio bits per sample (the wording you chose instead of audio bit depth) of 24 (which should read 1-bit)...all three values are wrong.
