Increase run count when clicking "path"

Hi, I often prefer to click the file path instead of the file itself to open the result.
This happens if I need to do also something else on that folder.

It would be really useful to increase the run count when clicking the path or at least enabling an optional flag for this.
Right now I have to manually click on the file and then reopen the results to open the path just to manually increase the count.

Run History does count both files & directories.
(I'll suppose, but not sure, that double-clicking on a Path does increment Run History?)

Now there isn't an obvious method to determine a file from a directory (as there is no trailing / on a directory entry).
And you can "manually" increase Run History counts (for both files & directories).

Oh, so you're saying that when you click the Path, you want the file entry associated with that Path to increase the file's run count.

Ah, no it does not do that.
Nor does clicking a Path increase that Path's run count.
But an Open of the Path Name does - from within the Name column.

Thanks for the reply. Yep I was asking if it would be possible to add an additional flag that allows to increment the run count also when clicking the path

For the record: I currently run latest 1.4 on my machine and just tried the v1.5a.

I noticed change to the behavior I always relied on. In 1.4, when you open context menu for a given file/folder, and click the "Open Path", it will increase the run count. This, in turn, enables sorting by "Run Count" even if I just open the file destination instead of explicitly executing the file. For version 1.5, it's no longer the case.

I went through the settings top to bottom, but couldn't find any related setting.

I'm probably not the only one that relied on this behavior. For the sake of backwards compatibility, the flag to enable old behavior would be very welcome.
