PDF Preview not displaying full PDDF

Post by snsd »

Hi,

First of all, this is an incredible application. Thanks for creating it!

I'm a fairly new user. I'm running 1.4.1.1026 (x86). When previewing a PDF, only a portion of the PDF is showing. The right hand side is cut off no matter how wide I try to make the window. Even if I right click on the preview and select a zoom like 50%, the right side is still cut off. And if I try to minimize the search results pane, it's still cut off. Finally, even using the hand to try to move the PDF to the left doesn't show the right side. See attached for what I'm experiencing.

I couldn't seem to find anything in the Options to change the behaviour.

Thanks in advance for any direction you might be able to give.

Thanks,

Dave

(Don't really know about such things, but...) OS, & might you be using a different pdf "handler" on your end?

only a portion of the PDF is showing
This happens with all .pdf files or only particular ones?

Thanks for the response.

Sorry. Should have mentioned I'm on Windows 11 Pro 24H2 (0S Build 26100.2605)

It's happening on all PDFs but your "PDF handler" comment got me thinking.... I was using PDF-Xchange Editor as my default PDF viewer and when I changed it to Okular PDF viewer, it works fine now. I really prefer having PDF-Xchange Editor as my default but I'll have to weigh the pros and cons of how I want to handle PDFs.

Thanks again!!!

That depends on the OS installed PDF preview handler.
What is yours ?
