Tabs occasionally used : right-hand block, tab colours...

I'm finding that when I'm working with tabs, there are a few I'm focussed on and a few kept for occasional use. So I might have 4 working tabs, and 3 occasional ones. But that's quite a lot to have all in one continuous block on the left all looking the same. I think this will be a common problem that different users will have different preferred solutions to.

* It would be ideal (in my view) to be able to drag (or right-click and "move to right") the less used tabs to the right side of the window so they are kept separate for clicking on, or perhaps there could be a discrete widget you could move them to out of sight (like a droplist) that they could be clicked on and reappear (or they could be kept in sight like a mini sidebar) - so right-click the tab and "Demote". If tabs are on the right it may be they take up less space in doing so, and there could be a Fonts and Colours option devoted to tabs on the right.

* Another option is to be able to right click tabs and set tab colours by hand, so people would choose a colour such as grey they use for unimportant ones, and they would drag these less used ones to the right (even if all on the right of the current left-hand block). I think having a variety of colours would need an adjustment to the current colouring concept, perhaps there could be a palatte of custom colouring styles (fore and back for each with a title) that when set become chooseable options by title when you right-click a tab. For example a person might have a tab colour combo called 'Occasional' and right-click a tab choose that colour for such. Colour is definitely important for many people. I would use colour a lot.

Perhaps people could chip in with other ways to deal with less-used tabs you want to have available but be less prominent.

I have on my TODO list to add a support for pinned tabs.

I also have on my TODO list to add a tab/window manager.

I will consider a tab color option.

I think I would open an extra Everything window and drag the less used tabs there. Maybe even change the theme of that window from dark to light (or vice versa) to make it clear its not the "regular" window.

When the less used tabs are needed again, drag them back to the main window.

To drag tabs to a new window, the tab bar in that window should be visible, otherwise the dragging doesn't work (or more accurate: I don't know how)
