I want to prevent everything from checking/syncing any drive content changes.

Everything 1.4:

To stop monitoring volumes for changes:
  • Copy and paste the following into your Everything search box:
    /monitor_pause
  • Press ENTER in your Everything search box.
  • If successful, monitors paused. is shown in the status bar for a few seconds.


To resume monitoring volumes for changes:
  • Copy and paste the following into your Everything search box:
    /monitor_resume
  • Press ENTER in your Everything search box.
  • If successful, monitors resumed. is shown in the status bar for a few seconds.

To toggle monitoring volumes for changes:
