Discord is currently treating Everything as a game.
Everything does not declare itself as a game.
It is Discord that treats Everything as a game.
Discord is looking into the issue.
For now, please try removing "Everything" as a registered game from discord:
In Discord, from Settings -> Registered Games Select Everything and click the red x
-or-
To stop Discord showing the active game:
In Discord, from Settings -> Activity Privacy, uncheck Display current activity as a status message.
-or-
Make a copy of your Everything.exe and run that:
In Everything , from the Tools menu, click Options .
Click the General tab on the left.
Uncheck Start Everything on system startup .
Click OK .
In Everything , from the File menu, click Exit .
---
In Windows Explorer, navigate to:
C:\Program Files\Everything
Copy your Everything.exe to EverythingIsNotAGame.exe
Launch EverythingIsNotAGame.exe
In Everything , from the Tools menu, click Options .
Click the General tab on the left.
Check Start Everything on system startup .
Click OK .

I've tried this once, it reappeared.
Someone at the dev team probably needs to do something about this.
Better workaround: Rename the .exe file to something else.

From the post above, you can see that David has already discussed this with Discord.
Renaming the EXE is your part if you realy need Discord.

There *is* a game out there with an everything.exe executable.
In the past there were also issues with Windows' Game Bar detecting "our" Everything as the game Everything.
There are no longer Windows Game Bar issues reported, so I think Microsoft found a way.
Maybe by checking the digital signatures/certificates (that is what I would do).

Weird seeing this pop up, as I ran into this issue with my own Python script years ago due to relying on executable names and window titles.
As of 2 years ago at least, it looks like Discord handles generic executable names by
including some of the folder structure . In this case both paths are "Everything/Everything.exe" so I'd imagine that's where it went wrong.

Is this still an issue for anyone?
