iam pointing to png and webp images format ..
i tried to search the forum here but with no luck, as words like "transparent" "background" and "alpha" are widely used here to refer to other meanings ..

Heh.
And while we're here, I had come across some pictures that they looked like one had 1px band removed
horizontally, & the other, 1px band removed vertically. It made the two pictures "move" [relatively to
one another]. Not sure how they came to be or if was purposeful or just what.
[Again, I know nothing of this stuff.])

hi therube,
i know that the results maybe not 100% accurate, but it will narrow down the search result by alot ..
look at this quoted part of the wikipedia page you shared
"True color (24-bit) 24 bits almost always use 8 bits each of R, G, and B (8 bpc). As of 2018, 24-bit color depth is used by virtually every computer and phone display[citation needed] and the vast majority of image storage formats. Almost all cases of 32 bits per pixel assigns 24 bits to the color, and the remaining 8 are the alpha channel or unused."
iam indexing the "bitdepth" property right now to test out the results
