CTRL + Backspace inserts "square" instead of deleting word

Hi,

When I'm entering a search in the "Everything" search window, I'd like to use "CTRL" + "Backspace" in order to erase the word before the caret.
This seems like a standard command for more desktop applications and I expected "Everything" to support it.

Currently, if you press "CTRL" + "Backspace" in the search box, a "square" character is typed instead.
