Customizing the search History Menu?

Post by Flourgrader »

Hi,
I find the search history menu useful.
But after a while I find I am clogging up the search history
With searches I probably will not use again.
Is it possible to clear out the ones you don’t want and keep the useful ones?
I do know how to delete the complete list.
I added a photo for clarification…

I use the specific file format search drop down menu
Eg: Everything, Audio, compressed, Documents and so on.
Is it possible to customize and add your own formats to this drop-down menu?
added a photo for clarification.
Thanks.

If you hit Del while the cursor is on an entry from the history it will be deleted.
Use Search / Organize filters to manage the drop-down menu.

You are using Everything 1.5. It is an alpha version, where some parts of the user interface are still in development.
Managing Search History (Menu:View > Search History (TODO) is one of them (as you can tell by the "TODO" :))

In Everything 1.5, you can press CTRL+SHIFT+H to open teh current Search History interface.
