I don't need "video aspect ratio" like 16:9. Instead, I want to check whether the video is landscape or portrait. So I remembered I made a filter to show "video aspect quotient" column like 1.7777 in my filter in previous version. But I lost my configurations on day. I'm using latest beta but cannot find any simple way to achieve this. Maybe my memory is bad I remembered something wrong.
So How to make "video aspect quotient" as a single column in a filter ?
The custom column value set by using formulas and with macros ?
Best method to make "video aspect quotient" as a single column in a filter?

Please try changing the aspect ratio format first:
- In Everything 1.5, from the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click the Advanced tab on the left.
- To the right of Show settings containing, search for:
aspect - Select: aspect_ratio_format
- Set the value to: 1.777
- Click OK.

... for example, by adding the following to the search in the VD filter:
Will show in a separate column:
For a textual representation, add the following instead:
Code: Select all
addcol:A A:=switch(LEFT($aspect-ratio:,2),"","?","0.","||","1","Square","==") Code: Select all
|| for portrait images
== for landscape images
? for unknown aspect ratios (offline files, for example)
Square for square imagesFor a textual representation, add the following instead:
Code: Select all
addcol:A A:=switch(LEFT($aspect-ratio:,2),"","?","0.","Portrait","1","Square","Landscape")
