Hi,
I'm adding an EFU file in Options -> Indexes -> File Lists and it seems like Date Modified, Date Created and Attributes are not imported (columns are blank in the search results).
For testing I generated an EFU file from Tools -> File List Editor and added that to the Options -> Indexes list. The columns for dates are empty. Opening the same EFU file using File -> Open File List shows the column content.
Thanks.
Date Modified, Date Created and Attributes not imported from EFU file

Re: Date Modified, Date Created and Attributes not imported from EFU file
Everything should pull Date Modified from the file list by default during the initial index.
Other information is ignored because it is not indexed by default.
Everything has two options to gather information for file list items:
Gather information from the filelist when indexing
Enable Date Modified, Date Created, and Attributes indexing under Tools -> Options -> Indexes.
Information is gathered from the file list at indexing time.
Gather information from disk when required
This information is not gathered from the file list.
When opening the File list in Everything (File -> Open File List), all properties in the file list are automatically indexed.
Date Modified, Date Created and Attributes are stored in the file list when using Tools -> File List Editor to create a file list.
Open the EFU file with a text editor and check there's a Date Modified, Date Created, and Attributes column with values.
Only indexed and gathered information is exported when Using Everything -> File -> Export.
Use File -> Read Extended information to gather unindexed information before exporting.

Re: Date Modified, Date Created and Attributes not imported from EFU file
Hello!
Thank you for the quick and comprehensive reply, the issue was that the properties were not enabled under Tools -> Options -> Indexes. After enabling them all is ok.
I was building a Linux script to generate EFU files and what I found on the forums didn't handle my edge cases. I'm attaching the script here in case anyone finds it useful:
