Is it possible to enable regex for this search by enclosing it with / ?

For example:
/^file\d+\.doc$/

It is easier and used elsewhere. Thanks

This will be difficult to support as / matches a path separator in Everything.

/downloads/

is a valid search.

For now, the easiest way to enable regular expressions for a search term is with the regex: search modifier.

For example:

regex:^file\d+\.doc$
