Looks like Windows 11 25H2 is no longer providing the original filename for the display name.
Same issue occurs in Windows Explorer if you open the path.
I'm looking into the issue and for a workaround..

Seemingly (?) it is fixed here, June 23, 2026—KB5095093 (OS Builds 26200.8737 and 26100.8737) Preview.
(Also note, that Win10 is likewise affected.)
(And even with the Preview update, no telling how Everything will respond.)
