Bookmarks - how to search specific folder

Post by Decoboy »

My first post, ES is a great tool, very fast, so.....
I must be missing something obvious, how do I create a bookmark to search in a particular folder?

I get how bookmarks can be used for various specific searches, but I just want to jump from one folder to another.

Thank you for your feedback Decoboy,

Include the folder path in your search.

For example:

C:\Windows\

"C:\Program Files\"

To jump to the folder if the folder sidebar, please try /explore

For example, create a bookmark with the following search:

/explore C:\Windows

/explore "C:\Program Files"

/explore

A Favourites section for the folders sidebar is planned for a future version of Everything.
