About the new option to copy settings and data

Post by abr01 »

"added an option to the installer to copy your Everything 1.5a settings and data."

That sounds good. Is it still recommended to go through the update guide? Like the registry stuff?

(Can't hurt. Also can't hurt to follow the most important part - backup first ;-).)

Ok, thanks.

But i have to say, that most of the registry changes didn't even apply to my machine, like said entries not to be found in the first place. Therefore i cheated, and skipped the remaining few keys. But the new Beta runs fine, anyway.
