New Beta, issue with indexing start anew

Accidently i closed Everything, which was finally at around 80%, running for hours, but after launching again it now has started at 40%. Quite frustrating. Isn't there a way to speed up the indexing drastically?

I also wonder why it hasn't been going back to 0%, once it discarded half of the already indexed content.
