How could one ope a folder in another Everything window?

And how could one duplicate a window / open a window with the same content?

How could one ope a folder in another Everything window?
Right click your folder, hold down Shift and click Search in Everything.

To show a Search in Everything (New Window) context menu item:
  • In Everything 1.5, from the Tools menu, click Options.
  • Click the Context Menu tab on the left.
  • Select: Search in Everything (New Window)
  • Check Show this item.
  • Click OK.

And how could one duplicate a window / open a window with the same content?
Right click the tab or menu bar (if tabs are not visible) and click Duplicate tab
Drag the tab outside of the Everything window to move it to its own window.

Many thanks!

Ah, I could’ve sworn I’d tried it a few times and it hadn’t worked. But now it does.
Right click the tab or menu bar (if tabs are not visible) and click Duplicate tab
When I click there

in the new tab the drive / USB stick above gets marked in the Folders panel:

And here

the same:

Drag the tab outside of the Everything window to move it to its own window.
That only seems to work without full sized window. And not by keeping the tab dragged and pressing ALT+TAB. So one has to resize the window and then drag the tab outside of the window?

It's a limitation with Everything when there are duplicated paths.
The first matching path will be selected.
I have put on my TODO list to remember the selection with volume name.
For now, you'll have to reselect the correct folder manually.

Drag the tab to the taskbar to move it to a new maximized window.

OK, easily done, thank you.

Ah, holy...limited brain function here (hope, no one else reads this), sorry, yes, that works, thank you.
