Awareness if a drive is online or not

I have a lot of greyed out items in the list, when my D: drive is not connected. Is it possible to have a configuration, that shows only items, that are currently available, while auto hiding all the other stuff?

Please consider an Online filter:

• In Everything, from the Search menu, click Add to filters....
• Change the Name to:
  Online
• Change the Search to:
  !offline:
• Click OK.

Filters can be activated from the Search menu, Filter bar (View -> Filter Bar), Filter sidebar (View -> Filters), right clicking the status bar, filter macro or filter keyboard shortcut.
Filters can be organized from Search menu -> Organize filters.

Hmm, then i would have to be in that filter mode all the time, instead in my usual everything mode. So i will stick to my !D: version for now, and make a copy of that mode without the D: omission, in case i have that backup drive plugged in. Otherwise it worked.

Consider adding !offline: to your Everything filter and adding an offline filter.

Online filter:

• In Everything, from the Search menu, click Add to filters....

  Offline
• Change the Search to:
  offline:
• Click OK.
