New user needing basics

Good morning from New Zealand.

I am having difficulty on how to do two things.
1. How to search for duplicate files and,
2. batch rename files.

I learnt on DOS 3.1 years ago so have some experience with commandand some batch programming code.

Everything is a powerful program but as I do not use PC's everyday as semi-retired from office work I have forgotten a lot of basic command writing.

Everything 1.4 is rather limited with finding duplicates.

In Everything 1.4, search for:

sizedupe:

and sort by size.
This will instantly show potentially duplicated files.
