[SOLVED] A macro in Filter - unknown purpose riddle

Post by Thy Grand Voidinesss »

I have a Filter and its version that has its Macro set to

Code: Select all

swps<search>
What is it for?

It is me who added it there - but I just do not remember now for what purpose, and unfortunately Everything does not come with a field for notes / comments that the past me could have used to explain to future me, what it is for - and thus prevent such questions

On its' own, I don't think it will do anything.
Not sure the <search> even belongs in there.

What is in Search: ?

Per mouseover (of Macro:), swsp: would be a "macro" (shortcut) for whatever your search in Search: is.

So if your Search: was 'audio:' (& leaving the <search> part aside),
swsp: jethro tull
, would search for jethro tull music.
(And would be the same as,
audio: jethro tull
, which kinds of negates the need or usage of swsp:, in this instance.)
