[Request]Installer based Arm64 compatible binary of "Everything" app

Post by abhgoel »

Hi Team,

We are trying to get an installer-based version of 'Everything' app compatible for the Arm64 processors.

Currently i can see there is only portable-based version available for Arm64.

Similar to x86 compatible installer app version, can we get some future release of the installer version for Arm64?

Thanks and Regards,
Abhishek

Hi @therube,

Thanks for replying.
For Everything Arm64 based app- currently we have portable version- which fetches the files during installation from the online server using the Network.
I'm looking for the Arm64 compatible Installer package of Everything app- where it doesn't require the Network connection (fetching the files directly from online server is not required) during the installation process.

Thanks,
Abhishek

There are no ARM/ARM64 installers for Everything 1.4.
The Everything 1.4 installer uses NSIS.
NSIS doesn't support ARM/ARM64.

Everything 1.5 will have an ARM/ARM64 installer, but it's not ready yet.

The portable version doesn't download any files or make any network connections.
There's no installation with the portable version.
The portable ARM/ARM64 version doesn't require a network connection.

Portable ARM/ARM64 version

The user must extract the Everything.exe to the desired location.
No changes to the system are made.
All the installer options are available in the portable version in the Everything under Tools -> Options -> General.
