Everything can't return results from removable usb disk or a mounting ISO image

Please try adding your volume as a folder index:

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the Folders tab on the left.
• Click Add....
• Select your USB disk or mounted ISO image and click OK.
• Click OK.

I'm running Version 1.4.1.1032 (x64)
I also have Version 1.5.0.1396a (x64) installed. Neither of them are identifying the files o the usb stick. I could have sworm it used to?

I also have problem with removable drives not being indexed.
I have followed the steps you suggested for drive D and it now shows up however I thought that previously it did this automatically?

My question is do I have to add all the drive letters so I don't accidentally miss an external device being connected that is not NTFS?

Oh and I did try to look up help but I am useless and using the correct words to search and hence didn't find what I wanted.

Everything will automatically index NTFS volumes by default. (not exFAT volumes)

exFAT volumes can be indexed automatically in Everything 1.5 under Tools -> Options -> FAT
Check Automatically include new fixed volumes.
Check Automatically include new removable volumes.

Everything 1.4 doesn't have the option to automatically index FAT volumes.

Looks like I'm moving to 1.5 permanently.

I rely on your program probably everyday. I use it that often it is just part of the furniture so to speak.

My system has about 36TB spread over various size drives.
