Only whole words returned

Hello

When I do a search nowerdays it only returns whole word.

If I type purchas as the start of purchasing I get results for purchasing but not for purchas, I feel like it did not used to be this way?

For instance if I type "Health & s" I get nothing but once I type Health & Safety i get results.

I don't suppose its the end of the world but sometimes I have to write a few words to get hits and I cannot always remember the string of words!

Check, Search (menu item) & see if Match Whole Words was inadvertently enabled.
(That should also display on the Everything taskbar.)
