Which installer/version/bitness did you use?
What installer options did you select/deselect?
What OS are you installing onto?
Where are you installing to, /program files/ or elsewhere?
Do you have UAC disabled?

Everything or the Everything Service is still running.
Please try the following:

- Optionally backup %APPDATA%\Everything
- Uninstall Everything
- Restart your PC.
- Reinstall Everything.
