Groups feature explanation

Could somebody please direct me a post explaining what is the Groups feature? I can't seem to find such

I think I understand the concept of Dupes, but in this viewtopic.php?f=12&t=10176#dupe I do not see explanation about Groups

Everything will try to group similar items when using dupe:

For example:

dupe:size

will group items with the same size.



Everything can group items in two ways:

1) dupe group lines
2) dupe group colors

The default is to group by lines.

groups

are GUI sub-feature of

dupes
