changing the name for the .exe file is affecting many of us

we must rename as mentioned below (first time ever an update stopped program from running) ?

I suspect the issue is caused by Everything64.exe being renamed to Everything.exe in 1397a.

If the issue persists in 1397 and later builds, please try copying your Everything.exe to Everything64.exe

If you are using any third party tools to setup your taskbar, please make sure they reference Everything.exe instead of Everything64.exe.

I am sorry to hear you are having trouble launching Everything 1397a.

How are you launching Everything?
Did you use the installer or portable zip to update Everything?
