After the update, a lot of registry entries still point to Everyting64.exe.
I had to replace all with the new name.
I guess many not so technical users will complain.

Thank you for the feedback horst.epp,

Everything 1.5.0.1397a renames Everything64.exe to Everything.exe

Installing Everything will update registry entries for the following general settings:
  • Start Everything on system startup.
  • Show Search Everything folder context menu item.
  • es: URL protocol.
  • EFU file association.
To fix these options if you use the portable version:
  • In Everything 1.5, from the Tools menu, click Options.
  • Click the General tab on the left.
  • Optionally tick-check Start Everything on system startup.
  • Optionally tick-check Show Search Everything folder context menu item.
  • Optionally tick-check es: URL protocol.
  • Optionally tick-check EFU file association.
  • Click OK.

If you created additional registry commands, they will need to be manually updated.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

If you need any help fixing broken registry commands or shortcuts, please let me know.
