I'm looking for a way to omit a specific folder name that occurs regularly throughout my hard drives. It's a backup from a Microsoft program that creates a duplicate file with the same extension with routing information (but no actual file information, just routing info), but the folder appears repeatedly at different paths, so I just want to omit that specific folder wherever it occurs.
Everything I see suggested comes up with using the "Exclude" option, but that requires a specific path. I tried adding a filter with that folder name, but that seems to yield zero results instead of only omitting that folder name.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Omit Folders w/ Same Name (Not Path)?
Re: Omit Folders w/ Same Name (Not Path)?
If the directory you do not want to include is called, :
On the Search bar, something like,, should work
As an Exclude, something like, Tools | Options | Indexes | Exclude -> Add Filter... -->
will probably do it
\donotincludeme\On the Search bar, something like,
!\donotincludeme\As an Exclude, something like, Tools | Options | Indexes | Exclude -> Add Filter... -->
*\donotincludemewill probably do it
